BCB President Papon calls meeting on Wednesday

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon has assembled a top managerial staff conference at the Young and Sports Service on Wednesday, where he is probably going to declare his renunciation from the post.

 

Iftikhar Ahmed Mithu, the chairman of the umpires committee and BCB director, confirmed the development over the phone on Tuesday from Thailand.

 "The gathering will be held at 11:00 AM. The chiefs will go to the gathering both genuinely and essentially. The gathering was called by the president himself," Mithu said. Be that as it may, he was unable to give particulars on what subjects will be talked about in the gathering.

Previous public group captain Faruque Ahmed is the leader to supplant Papon at BCB. Prior on Monday, Jalal Yunus, a NSC-designated chief at the BCB, left his situation.
