Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon has assembled a top managerial staff conference at the Young and Sports Service on Wednesday, where he is probably going to declare his renunciation from the post.
Iftikhar Ahmed Mithu, the chairman
of the umpires committee and BCB director, confirmed the development over the
phone on Tuesday from Thailand.
"I'm as of now in Bangkok as my girl went through a
medical procedure today. I have gotten a text about the gathering. I don't have
the foggiest idea what might be the subjects of conversation in the
gathering," he added. It was discovered that the BCB manager is set to
leave the situation during the gathering and a Public Games Committee (NSC)
selected chief might supplant him.
Previous public group captain Faruque Ahmed is the leader to
supplant Papon at BCB. Prior on Monday, Jalal Yunus, a NSC-designated chief at
the BCB, left his situation.
Another NSC named chief Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby, in any case, is yet to leave his situation despite the fact that he was approached by the NSC to step down.
